Main Gym Classes (Grade 1 & up)
Tuition for all Main Gym classes is for an 11 week session. Click here for details.
Grades requirements are for the 2019-2020 school year.
Our Flipping for Fun gymnastics curriculum is based on the USAG Jr. Olympic Program, as well as our 25 years experience of teaching gymnastics to children. The curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, achievement-oriented program of gymnastics skills, flexibility, strength, and coordination. Gymnastics provides a good foundation for participation in many other sports as well as producing a well-rounded athlete.
Petite Flippers (Grade 1-3 girls)
Flippers (Grade 3 and up girls)
Our primary focus at this level is to introduce the student to the basic gymnastics skills and techniques on all of the Olympic events (vault, bars, beam, floor) and trampoline. Safety is a main priority as students work on rolls, jumps, swings, handstands, cartwheels and much more!
Petite Saltos (Grade 1-3 girls - by invitation only)
This class provides an opportunity for continued skill progression and physical ability training. It introduces the student to more advanced gymnastics skills and techniques.
Saltos (Grade 4 & up girls - by invitation only)
The 90 minute Saltos class is for students in grade 4 and up, who have mastered the necessary gymnastics skills and terminology. The Saltos class moves at a faster pace, so enrollment is limited to those students who have been invited through a teacher recommendation. Students will build on the skills learned at the previous level and progress to more difficult gymnastics skills and techniques.
Twisters (by invitation only)
Our Twisters class is for advanced gymnastics students in grade 3 and up. Participation in a Twisters class is permitted upon staff invitation only.
**Students new to CPAG who wish to enroll in a Saltos or Twisters class must be evaluated by a CPAG staff member.
Super Saturday (Grade 2 and up girls)
CPAG's Super Saturday class is perfect for the student who would like more time in the gym to perfect their existing skills and work on new challenges. Super Saturday students attend class for 2 1/2 hours and work on the four Olympic events (vault, bars, balance beam, and floor) and trampoline. Previous gymnastics experience is required for enrollment.
